Our client in Framingham, MA is looking for a contract to potential hire Program Manager for Technology Marketing.
Position Summary: This position plays a significant role in driving the Technology Growth initiative forward for Dot.com. This person will assist in the planning, execution and management of major cross-channel campaigns and weekly events aimed at driving profitable sales in key technology categories. He or she will work closely with priority vendors, assisting in the planning and management of co-op campaigns. Lastly, this person will assist in the development of educational content aimed at making the tech research and selection process easier for our customers
1. Assist in the planning and manage execution of key product marketing/merchandising initiatives, including major cross channel promotions and campaigns, as well as weekly events. Partner with merchandising, Portfolio and Promotions teams to manage calendar of weekly tech events. Develop create briefs and manage weekly projects through the Agency, ensuring flawless execution
Partner with Retail to ensure offers are planned, communicated and marketed in both a Retail and .com -friendly fashion; Ensure alignment on creative strategy and execution. Partner with merchandising to ensure clear and timely communication to key stakeholders, including Sales & Service team.
2. Develop strong working relationships with key vendor partners, assisting in the management and execution of co-op campaigns that will help us increase our presence in the purchase path and mutually reach our budgeted sales goals. Partner with Digital Marketing team to understand tech category performance and areas of opportunity by vehicle. Assist in vendor negotiations for incremental funding during peak seasons. Partner with Digital Marketing team to build a proposal that aligns with the vendors objectives; communicate to internal and external partners and manage creative needs through the Agency
3. Assist Manager in the development, implementation and management of a tech content strategy with a goal of making Dot.com THE destination for technology research online. Execute a comprehensive industry analysis to understand best-in-class approach to online research. Audit Dot.com to assess what we have, what we need and how it should be prioritized. Develop creative briefs and manage execution through the Agency
Partner cross functionally to ensure we are creating a seamless research experience across all channels
Bachelor Degree required
3-5 years related experience
Ability to work independently and problem solve to keep projects moving on time
Outgoing individual who proactively keeps partners up to date and seeks buy-in
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, and ability to manage several tasks / projects at once
