Database Developer

Experience level – 5-7 years.

Database developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining MS SQL DB. This includes all end-to-end aspects from receiving raw data to generating the correct output that meets the business’s reporting requirements. Database developer will unit test his own code and support project team in debugging activity across the testing lifecycle. This developer must also have excellent written and oral communication skills as responsibilities also include working with business users to trouble shoot issues, documenting technical design and support documentation, and being an active member in solution design discussion.

Required Skills:

•        Database design

•        MS SQL

•        MS SSIS

•        MS Access

•        SQL stored procedures

•        XML generation

•        Fundamental understanding of server to server communications

•        Excellent written and oral communication skills

•        Ability to work independently with minimal assistance

•        Strong problem solving skills: able to logically break down a problem into smaller manageable parts.
