Job Description:
The Aircraft Structures Mechanic will assist in the assembly of aircraft at the Palmdale Manufacturing Center. Candidates considered for this position should have recent aircraft related experience and be familiar with composite and composite/metal assembly.
Daily job duties will include, but are not limited to locating parts, fastener layout, hole preparation, countersinking, and installing a variety of fasteners.
Candidates need the ability to perform moderately strenuous physical work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting and working overhead.
Must also have the ability to read and interpret visual aids and assembly planning.
Our core work schedules are Monday - Thursday, 1st and 2nd shifts; however, you must be willing to work any shift or schedule.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications: HS degree, or equivalent, and 3.5 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications: Training or hands-on experience with structural assembly.
If an offer is made, Standard background check, Drug screening, and Medical Exam will be conducted. Candidate must be able to pass all screenings to be hired.
