Job Description
Position Code, Title and Location: Kronos Administrator – Charlotte, NC (6098)
Start Date: ASAP
Type: fulltime permanent
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Responsibilities:
- The Kronos Application administrator is a key professional within the Corporate Back Office Operations group.
- This candidate will be primarily responsible for supporting the Kronos Application System. Play a major role in all Implementation Projects, Upgrades, and Ongoing Support.
- Install, configure, debug, analytically troubleshoot the system and determine process improvements
- Ensure documental procedures are always in compliance and up to date (i.e. application procedures, support procedures, and disaster recovery procedures)
- Requirements gathering, business analysis, system configuration, design, testing, and support
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge in support and maintenance of the Kronos Workforce Central 6.1/6.2 version which includes any or all of Kronos Workforce Timekeeping, Time and Attendance, Accruals, Event Manager, WIM, Workforce Scheduler with Optimization, Payroll Allocation, and WDM (4500 Terminals).
- Knowledge of WDM which includes: Configuring device, device groups, communication, and troubleshooting device terminals
- Experience with multiple web server JVM Instances using Vertical Scale architecture
- Experience with Remedy (Magic) Incident System in creating, updating, and following up to providing tier 2, 3, and 4 level support
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred;
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient enough to successfully perform essential functions of the job.
Preferred Expertise:
- Configuration experience of Kronos WIM Interfaces based on business requirements and communicating interfaces between HR/Payroll (Oracle) and Kronos
- Requirements gathering, business analysis, system configuration, design, testing, and support
- Understanding pay policy configurations to include: Pay Rules, Work Rules, Accruals, Scheduling, etc.
