As a private equity backed Facilities Management business, this innovative organisation is itself a division of one of the UK’s leading Service groups. The business supports a range of clients across several key sectors through the provision of real estate & property repair, maintenance & capital investment services to the public & private sector. With forecast t/o at £400m & continued profitable growth strategy, a high profile opportunity exists for a Commercial Finance Planning & Analysis Manager to support a regional contract, t/o £10m, based in Surrey & Kent. Your brief includes:

• Delivery of high quality project (contract) business unit management information & reporting, KPIs’, plans, forecasts & analysis
• Acting as a finance business partner to operations management aiding & making project decisions
• Lead & challenge forecasts & budgets, ensuring these are supported by commercially viable project (job & programmed WIP) management information
• Acting as a change agent through understanding & influencing the project / contract business model, process re-engineering, reducing costs & cultivating opportunities for margin improvement
• Deliver financial & operational actions to impact operations & finance balance scorecard results

As a qualified accountant, you will demonstrate excellent financial planning, analysis & business partnering skills, hands on staff management experience & the ability to champion robust financial systems & controls. Previous experience of the construction, facilities management, maintenance & refurbishment sector is highly advantageous. The role demands a proactive, energetic approach alongside the ability to influence the non-finance community. The contract requires travel to Kent on a monthly basis. Ref: BHJOB3543_3880
