Job Description
Our client, a leader in their field, requires a Contract Sr. Application Developer with some team lead responsibilities for a long term contract.
Details of the project:
Reports to Development Manager
- 1- 3 Development team members report to this position for direction but not administration

DUTIES
1. Working on Architecture and Design for a new online platform
2. Developing system frameworks and core components including leveraging and integrating 3rd party software, libraries and other systems
3. Developing and setting implementation standards, procedures including coding of mission critical components
4. Supporting testing and deployment activities
5. Resolving development issues for other team members.
6. Providing guidance and coaching to junior staff
7. Oversee and be responsible for the quality of delivered products of the entire team.
8. Provide input to the Development Manager on performance appraisals.

Minimum five years of experience as a software designer/developer. Some experience managing small teams of people. Experience with system architecture and design. Experience designing and implementing online customer facing solutions including integration with legacy systems.
