Job Description

The Sr. Consultant, Change Management is responsible for expanding the Change Execution knowledge base across the company through targeted capability building and ongoing knowledge transfer. This incumbent is also accountable for creating positive brands by creating messaging and techniques to respond to resistance, build change willingness, and emphasize benefits.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Organizational Capability Building

 – Develop curriculum and training materials

– Manage delivery of classroom training

– Deliver customized trainings / education sessions

– Provide change execution skill / knowledge transfer across project teams to build capability across the organization

– Develop and manage document / knowledge repository

– Prepare generic “First Aid Kit” to support generic change-related business needs

– Manage the change execution body of knowledge; publicize and communicate Change Execution products through appropriate media

 • Branding and Messaging

 – Build positive perception of organizational capabilities; debunk current myths

– Plan, craft, and distribute change-related communications across organization

– Design specific interventions / solutions intended to move employees up commitment curve

– Plan, craft, and distribute change-related communications across organization to increase commitment to new culture

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

 – 8-10 years of experience in training, facilitation, and communications

– Bachelor Degree in Behavioral Science or related experience

 Desired Skills, Education, and Experience:

 – Lean Six Sigma familiarity, green / black belt a plus

 BEHAVIORAL/LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES:

 – Experience working across company boundaries; functions well in ambiguous and complex environment

– Ability to quickly build relationships and diplomatically negotiate common approach

– Ability to interact with all levels of management

 TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

 – Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

– Excellent consultative, facilitation, and communication skills

– ability to create compelling vision, drive change, influence decision making
