Our client is a leader in providing information resources for the engineering community. The technical industry and engineers find my client useful to search for and locate products and services, learn about suppliers and access information on standards, materials properties, specifications and designs. Their technology allows users to search by specification the largest collection of online supplier catalogs. Suppliers have the ability to gain a comprehensive marketing program designed to promote their brand and generate, track and manage highly-qualified sales leads.
- Base Salary to $50,000-$55,000(based on experience) with Year 1 @plan $80,000s
- Uncapped commissions
- Benefit Package
- Close new business over phone in a highly competitive/consultative selling environment.
- Ability to initiate high-level interactive business conversations with key decision makers.
- Ability to work with both small and large product manufactures and service companies
- Service companies with Internet marketing and advertising programs in industrial/engineering space.
- Create interest and build value by use of a multi-call process
- Overcome objections
- Build a strong pipeline and close new business
- Expand customer relationships that ensure renewal and increase business.
- BA or BS preferred
- History of earnings in excess of $75,000 preferred
- Industry experience
- 3+ years professional selling experience
- 2+ years experience selling marketing/advertising programs, internet product sales
- Prior experience in B2B - with focus on manufacturing/industrial type clients a plus
- (SEO/SEM experience preferred)
- Strong computer skills and SCM systems
