Position Title Manager Quality Systems – NE #2225 Relocation Yes Location Lincoln Nebraska MUST send resume in MS Word! MUST be US citizen or perm resident!! Leadership of the Quality Management System (QMS), Document Control, Customer Quality Assurance, Laboratory and Calibration technical services for all facilities. Responsible for all aspects of QMS including, but not limited to, directing, planning, implementing, reviewing, and reporting of the management systems. Direct and coordinate training to all people on all aspects related to the QMS including but not limited to training of the standards, 5 core tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC), procedures, etc. Keeping up to date with all standards and implementing necessary changes Coordinate and direct external 3rd party registration/surveillance audits. Administration of Document Control including but not limited to hardware/software for proper creation/modification, communication, and review of internal/external documents. Administration of the internal audit program including developing internal audit plan, coordinate training and development of internal auditors, performing audits to plan, and on-going communication/reporting of results. Administration and implementation of the Corrective Action System. Generation of quality reports related to QMS. Continuous improvement of the QMS. Customer technical contact for quality related activities (CCARs, cross-functional problem resolution, working with our customers’ quality representatives, coordinating new customer quality assessments, etc.) Lead PPM improvement plan for strategic customers Participate in quality reporting and management review process Oversight and coordination to assure timely resolution of CCARs Provides quality systems expertise for root cause analysis and problem resolution in support of operations Dotted line oversight of Quality Technician resources reporting to the operational areas. Provides quality systems support to operations as needed for consistent application of quality techniques Provides training and development to continually upgrade the skills of our Quality Technicians. Works closely with the Supplier Quality, Integration and Continuous Improvement areas to assure consistency of continuous quality improvement efforts Supervise document control, laboratory and calibration staff. Education and/or Experience: Expected: Experienced in quality management leadership and quality engineering tools. Proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; and a minimum of five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven experience in directing a QMS/EMS in ISO 9000 and ISO 14000, internal and/or external auditing experience. Customer quality assurance experience a must. TS 16949 experience is highly desired. Preferred: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing experience, TS 16949 Bottom Line 1. Bachelor’s degree. 2. 5+ years of experience in quality management leadership and with quality engineering tools in a manufacturing environment. 3. Experience in directing a QMS/EMS in ISO 9000 and ISO 14000. 4. Strong customer quality assurance experience. 5. TS 16949 experience is highly desired. 6. Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred.
