Job Description

As a Technical Solutions Engineer (TSE), you will troubleshoot complex software issues, gathers business requirements, technical specifications and test scenarios for new feature customer requests. You will interface with Technical Account Managers, Development, Quality Assurance and Operations to resolve customer issues. You will interact with customers to answer questions and explain technical issues. Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and solution oriented personality are a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to integrate ITA products with customer software by understanding clients’ business requirements and recommending solutions to achieve the desired results.
  • Participate in the identification and development of tools and scripts to more efficiently resolve client issues, and to facilitate analysis of customer data.
  • Participate in implementation and deployment projects, from inception to delivery, including requirements gathering, consulting, workshops, integration and production launch assistance.
  • Consult with other engineers and with customers to make the best use of leading edge, new and existing products and tools.
  • Design and carry out performance tests on customer queries, analyze the results, and make recommendations for query and hardware changes.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical degree preferred.
  • Successful track record at least 5 years of relevant technical consulting experience in either engineering or computer science.
  • Experience with multiple of Unix, C++, J2EE Java, XML, .NET C#, Perl, Ruby, Python, Emacs, SQL, Lisp, Visual Basic.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and solution oriented personality.
  • Exceptional customer communication skills required to understand customer needs, and clearly provide status of difficult technical problems.
  • Confidence to participate and contribute within a fast-paced, technically aggressive, highly skilled and collegial development team.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
