My client, an award winning Environmental Consultancy have a vacancy for an EIA Consultant to work within their busy environmental team based in Oxford.
Duties will involve managing early stage EIA's and planning based projects whilst assisting EIA project managers in delivery of more complex EIA projects. You will have a strong commercial sense and communication skills and experience in contributing to the development of new business.
You will be familiar with working in a multidisciplinary team, carrying out EIA scoping and screening assessments and coordinating and project management of EIA's. You will also carry out desk studies, field surveys and baseline data collation assessment and review technical reports to collate into Environmental Statements.
You will have a relevant degree in an environmental subject such as EIA, Town & Country Planning or Environmental Engineering.
Experience of the renewables, waste and agriculture sectors and Membership of a relevant professional body is also desirable.
