Position Type: 4 month Contract to Hire

Description

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work within a team of functional Business Analysts as a liaison between Sales and IT.
• Understand the business challenges and opportunities of the Sales organization, and identify improvements in IT systems and processes.
• Provide project management support for IT initiatives.
• Document business and IT processes, and translate high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements for the IT development team.
• Lead system testing efforts, ensuring that issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely mannerSolid BA, Salesforce.com, IT background, good background with sales, Pivotal skill set (not a requirement) Several years supporting sales, understand leads, opportunities management, proposals, quotes, and good IT background, requirement design and testing. BA who supports the sales function (seen it, worked on it and understands it).

Position Requirements:

• BA in Marketing, Management, Information Systems, or related business field.
• A minimum of 5 years IT business analyst experience supporting a Sales function.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, define, and document business and IT processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Desired Skills:

• Experience working with Pivotal SFA, version 5.9 or higher.
• PMP or PMI certification

Additional Notes: Looking for someone who has done salesforce administration. Marketing experience is not required.
