Wireless Construction Manager (closed)
Perform feasibility walks in collaboration with Zoning, Acquisition and RF departments.
Experience with Installation, Commissioning and Integration.
Tracks the progress of construction operations such as the arrival and utilization of materials, supplies, tools, machinery, equipment, and vehicles.
Supervise tower crews.
Supervise personnel resources and interface with general sub-contractors. Review bids, budgets, and gross margin.
Read and understand site status reports, site plans, tower drawings, and grounding plans.
Report on and update job progress on weekly database trackers. Track all work related issues and report to the Market PM. Quality assurance and reporting, Perform quality audits and maintain quality log
Minimum 5 years experience in wireless facilities construction, preferably with broadcast, microwave, and wireless site construction experience.
Have 5+ years of construction management supervision; including project feasibilities, estimating, operational trouble shooting.
Candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills, strong written and reporting skills
Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work flexible hours and under pressure.
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree in construction science preferred).
Must have a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, auto insurance. Ability to travel between job sites daily is a must; frequent overnight travel or longer is also a must. Must be willing to work days/nights/weekends depending on project demands. Reliable transportation that may be used to commute between jobsites.
Must be ready to respond to urgent questions, establish priorities, and delegate tasks as necessary.
Must have a VERY STRONG work ethic, and the desire to deliver excellent customer service!
