Tax Manager (closed)
This person will be responsible for Federal, State and Local income and sales/use tax returns and implications of proposed business transactions and tax legislation. Assemble qualified research expenses for the Research & Experimentation credit calculation as well as the income tax provision preparation/ alculation and related analysis. Maintenance of Vertex sales and use tax compliance system. Analyzes and review communications to and from taxing authorities as prepared by external tax
consultants relating to audits and controversy. Maintain Tax Calendar for compliance due dates. Create and implement Corporate transfer pricing decisions Research and planning related to the US and international operations.
Responsibilities:
Corporate Income Tax returns
Manage outside tax firm
Oversee tax audits
Sales & use tax returns
Maintain Tax Calendar
Vertex
State and Local sales and use tax
Monitor communications with taxing authorities and advisors
Make recommendations
Transfer pricing analyses
Credit Calculations
Calculate tax provisions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Vertex experience required.
Experience in multi state tax issues is a must.
FasTrac 109 is a plus.
Certified Public Accountant designation is a plus.
MBA designation is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years combined experience in a public accounting or private company capacity.
International tax exposure is a plus.
