Extensive experience in requirements discovery/definition/documentation for  Interactive Voice Response (IVR) applications. Prior experience with speech recognition strongly preferred.

Candidate will be joining existing team, and be responsible to follow an existing, agreed-upon process for quick requirements discovery and documentation. High level requirements to be documented in Visio, followed by generation of formal requirements using a pre-defined process and format. Must be able to come up to speed quickly on an existing project.

Must also have excellent technical writing skills, including expertise in Visio, MS Word, and MS Excel. Expert knowledge of the English language – including grammar, verbiage and spelling.

Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group. Quickly learn and demonstrate knowledge of the client business/industry and knowledge of Verizon’s Professional Services offering. Previous consulting experience or experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Able to remember and recall semantic and factual information. Significant organization skills and ability to store and recall large volumes of information. Strong communication skills to accurately represent and convey information both in verbal and written form. Ability to multi-task and be aware of several simultaneous work streams. Ability to manage competing and conflicting priorities.

Detail-oriented and ability to maintain composure in challenging situations. Experience working in dynamic and fast-paced environments. Able to work autonomously and as part of a self-directed work team. Able to work nights and weekends when necessary. Able to work productively in a stressful environment. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, if necessary. Expert knowledge of the English language – including grammar, verbiage and spelling.
