Job Description

-Design, develop, test and coordinate deployment of IT initiatives into non-prod and prod environments

-Use software engineering, PCI and security (SPI) standards for design and development

-Analyze and translate business requirements in to detail design

-Create detail design specification document for development team

-Coordinate with offshore teams in India, using the global service delivery model, for development, testing and deployment activities

-Develop monitoring and metrics reporting scripts for performance assurance

-Closely monitor production for operational stability

Required Skills and Education

-Bachelors degree in computer science or related field

-Minimum 6 years of design and development experience in .Net Framework, C#, ASP.Net, VB.Net, AJAX, Web Services, HTML, XML, XSLT, CSS and Java Script

-Experience with IIS web server, SQL server, VS 2008, Telerik Controls, TFS and implementing multi tier web architecture

-Experience in OOAD and SDLC

-Experience working on enterprise scale IT ordering platforms

-Experience and understanding of online ordering application in telecom domain

-Understanding of Voice, Broadband, Video and Value Added Services

-Understanding of software engineering, PCI and security (SPI) standards

-Strong communication and inter personal skills

-Verizon IT experience a plus

-MS degree a plus
