We are currently seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer for a 2 year assignment for one of our clients in Birmingham, AL. The developer will play a key role in the development of software to support numerous business processes. This position works closely with end users and other developers to implement requirements into the development process.

Requirements:

Oracle PL/SQL

Ability to write code that not only works, but is also optimized properly

Good analytic problem solving skills

Good understanding of Oracle internal mechanisms

Preferred:

TOAD or other similar database tools

Ability to trace through PL/SQL packages using TOAD for analysis, problem solving and possible corrections
