Job Summary:

-Candidate will be working with Contract Modeling, Government accounts, 
and Managed Care accounts 
Oversee the cash posting and logging functions
-Ensure consistent application of A/R adjustment and standard accrual tools to calculate appropriate
discounts and allowances by payer class and insurance plan
-Oversee management of logs, including verification of log accuracy, daily reporting and analysis and
resolution of log discrepancies
-Understand and communicate contract specific issues related to discount and allowance calculations for a variety of payers such as Medicare, Medicaid, HMO's, PPO's, IPA's, employers, etc.
-Oversee management of personnel, providing recommendations for hiring, promotion, salary adjustment and personnel action where appropriate 
-Establish controls and review mechanisms for PAS policies and procedures
-Monitor trends and communicate significant shifts in market or operating conditions to PAS and
facility leadership
-Identify and implement process improvements to lower cost to collect and improve services to facility
customers

We are looking for the following skills and qualities:

Strong Operational background- healthcare background is the preference
Has Managed or is skilled at Managing workflow and processes
Strong project Management experience in an operational environment ( Inventory Management, streamlining processes)
Project Management experience
Analytical and Math skills 
Candidate will be working with large amounts of data, analyzing and summarizing this data
Technically savvy, especially in excel

Requirements:

CPA highly preferred
Must Have BS degree in Finance, or Accounting
Payer analysis experience
Minimum 5 years management experience
