Sourcer / Recruiter - Singapore (closed)
You will support PayPal’s APAC Recruiters by providing strong support in areas of candidate generation, development and identification. You will act as a search expert; understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications and search requirements. You will partner with recruiters to generate ideas, leverage resources and share information that facilitates an effective search process. In addition; where capacity is identified the Senior Recruiters will look to you to run and own recruitment projects.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
-Identify, qualify and forward viable candidates to recruiters/hiring managers.
-Identify opportunities to positively impact diversity hiring efforts.
-Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies.
-Stay current with industry trends, developments and changes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
-Source active candidates from on-line databases, contact lists, internal databases, employee referrals.
-Strong focus on sourcing and engaging passive candidates through networking, generation programs, communities, cold calling, complex internet searches and research.
-Screen candidates for basic qualifications, availability, interest level, visa status, salary range, and relocation needs.
-Must understand technology and Internet based tools (especially LinkedIn) as they relate to the sourcing and research functions.
-Work in closely with the Senior Recruiters to establish Search Strategy and direction.
-Provide insight into the industry / competitive landscape and candidate market.
-Work with together with Senior Recruiters to actively manage Recruitment Channels (i.e. job boards, ATS, professional networks, MBA networks, social networking sites, etc.) and build candidate pipeline for open requisitions.
-Screen applicant CVs to help determine ‘fit’ against job requirements and expectations.
-Attend job fairs and participate in community networking events
We are looking for a motivated self starter with a solid research background including the following:
-3-5+ years sourcing/research/recruiting experience for various positions in a corporate environment or Agency background (Search experience would be a plus)
-Thorough understanding of online databases and job boards.
-Candidate must have the ability to implement targeted sourcing initiatives.
-Candidate must have the ability to generate a high quality pipeline of candidates under very tight timelines
-Ability to interact at all levels of the organization
-Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships
-Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency
-Strong organizational and multi tasking abilities are essential to this position
-Candidate must be very flexible and willing to support multiple functions and/or business units
-Ideal candidates will be highly motivated and self directed and possess high energy
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
