Job Description
Do you have experience as an Accountant within the iGaming industry and are looking for a new challenge? Then this is the opportunity you've been looking for!  
 
Our client is the leading provider of white label gaming services for blue-chip media brands and integrated gaming solutions for European sportsbooks. They are now looking for someone to join their Accounts department, manage a team and directly report to the Financial controller.


The key duties of the post are as follows:
  • Managing a small team and responsible for the day-to-day accounting operation
  • Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts
  • Management of Balance Sheet Control Account reconciliation for all group companies
  • Review of overhead expenses and investigation of variances
  • Management of accruals and prepayments balances
  • Maintenance of Fixed Assets Register and ledger
  • Ensure compliance of expense approval and recognition procedures
  • Maintain and document excellent accounting systems and internal controls and update as appropriate
  • Provide support, guidance and when required, cover for the Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Treasury functions
  • Organisation and handling of the payment run processes
  • Assistance to the external Auditors and with the audit process generally
  • Input into cash-flow, forecasting and planning function
  • Assist with tax computations and effective record keeping for tax compliance in multiple jurisdictions
  • Liaise with the business to ensure compliance with accounting systems and vice versa finance to respond effectively to the needs of the business
  • Involvement in various projects including new systems and products
  • Generally operate as a No 2 to the Accounting Controller and deputise as necessary
  • Other ad hoc tasks as may arise from time to time

 

Essential Skills

  • Qualified/finalist ACA/ACCA or CIMA
  • Minimum 2/3 years iGaming experience
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills
  • Excellent technical knowledge including IFRS
