The Wellington Group has been engaged to find an experienced Engineer with proven experience in the innovation, design, development and transfer to manufacturing of new medical devices products, materials and technologies. Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the development of innovative ideas and new products
• Critical decision maker in areas of engineering and business needs
• Develop a viable schedule, management plans and mange scheduled resources
• Execute and control the project through closure
• Technical expert and SME for design and development of new medical technologies
• Lead, supervise, mentor and develop staff

The qualified candidate will have:

• Requires a Bachelor degree, science or engineering is preferred
• 10+ years of engineering experience with medical devices, disposables and materials
• 3+ years in medical devices project management in an FDA regulated environment
• Ability to systematically manage multiple projects from initiation through closing phases
• Prior experience in leading, managing, training and mentoring other staff member
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Ability to make and present engineering decisions
• Manage, communicate and drive project deliverables
