SQL Server/Oracle DBA
6-12 Months
Allentown, PA
 
 
SQL Server DBA (secondary Oracle DBA skills)
 
Database Administrator
 
Work in a team environment
Perform SQL Server DBA duties (configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and provide general secondary support for the Oracle database environment
Provide routine DB support tasks: performance monitoring and tuning as well as backup and recovery procedures
Work with project teams; design and delivery of infrastructure solutions
Must be able to achieve and maintain NERC-CIP
  
Technical skills
 
SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008
Clustering, advanced configurations
Experience with Oracle DB technologies (9i, 10g, 11g, OEM, RAC, etc)
Strong VB Script and batch file script writing skills as well as Unix shell scripting skills
