This position will be part of a large team of highly skilled Systems Programmers who are charged with keeping a large enterprise of hardware and software up and running 24/7/365. 

To qualify, you must have several of the following skills (but not all of them): 

· BS Computer Science or Engineering, Technical Associates degree, or Technical School Certification 
· Coding skills in a lower level, technical language such at assembler, REXX, CLIST, C, C++, or C#. 
(Please note that this is not a programming job. Technical expertise in these languages prepares one for dealing with operating system software and utilities.) 
· Experience in Database Administration of large database systems such as DB2 or Oracle with skills in performance, tuning, physical database design 
· Systems administration skills in Unix, Linux, Windows or Open Software systems and products 
· Enterprise computer systems operational analysis and support 
· Proficiency in TSO/ISPF 
· Knowledge of IBM utilities 
· Knowledge of the use of program products such as Omegamon, MQ, MAINVIEW, WPS (Workflow Process Server), or Websphere Application Server (WAS) 
· Knowledge of IBM JCL (Job Control Language) required 
· Automatic scheduling of processes in a mainframe environment 
· Knowledge of operational tasks in an iSeries or AS400 environment 
· Skill in troubleshooting complex computer problems, and a desire to do more 
· Technical knowledge of how CICS works or how it is used in programming
