As a member of the Enterprise Applications team, you will work with business analysts and architects to build WebSphere Portal based solutions.  In this role, successful candidates must be able to:
·        Effectively translate business, functional and non-functional requirements into technical solutions built upon
         WebSphere Portal using the Spring 2.x/3.x framework
·        Work with an architect to build solution consensus
·        Provide design and implementation estimates
·        Participate in technical requirements and lead/manage SDLC from detail design through implementation
·        Implement the portal solution using the following technologies
              o   Spring 3.x framework w/ JDBC templates
              o   HTML / CSS / AJAX
              o   Dojo JavaScript framework
              o   SQL with System i (iSeries) DB2 database
              o   Web Services
·        Excellent understanding of OOP using Java
·        Excellent understanding of best practice design patterns
·        Good understanding of industry-standard, open source technologies
·        Support and mentor other technical team members Professional skills:
·        Effective time management
·        Excellent written and oral communication
·        Project execution using waterfall SDLC methodologies
·        Problem determination / solution skills Required:
·        3 years experience designing and developing solutions using WebSphere Portal and Rational Application
         Developer
·        2 years experience using Spring technologies
·        1 year experience with web technologies
                o   HTML
                o   CSS
                o   AJAX
                o   Dojo or another JavaScript framework
·        2 years experience in industry standards
                o   XML
                o   DBMS (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server)
                o   Web Services (SOAP and REST) Preferred:
·        5 years experience in a lead designer/developer role delivering web solutions built on WebSphere
         Application Server
·        2 years experience with System i (iSeries) DB2
·        1 year experience WebSphere Portal installation, configuration, and administration
·        2 years experience WebSphere Application Server installation, configuration, and administration
·        2 years experience SOA design and implementation using WebSphere Application Server
·        1 year experience using ESB / messaging technologies
