Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager

Job Location: Tacoma, Washington

Job Summary:

Responsible for direction of patient care activities in the L&D unit. Manages staff and operational and nursing activities. Consults with staff, physicians and the Chief Nursing Officer on nursing problems and interpretation of facility policies to ensure patient needs are met. Conducts employee annual performance reviews, provides clinical education, and models service excellence for the unit. Implements initiatives and processes under the leadership of the Director, including monitoring for regulatory compliance through chart auditing. Assumes role of unit administrator in Director's absence.

Job Requirements:

-    Current RN license required

-    BSN degree required

-    Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience required

-    Strong clinical skills in L&D and NICU nursing
