The Oracle Database/Front End Developer will be required to work independently and as part of a small team. The individual will be capable of doing installation, patching, backups and restores and general database tuning. This candidate shall possess the ability to write procedures, functions and SQL statements. The candidate shall be capable of developing front end ColdFusion code and creating new webpage designs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4 years’ experience in all aspects of software design and development, including writing and reviewing requirements
• 3 years’ experience in database design, development and maintenance
• Familiar with Oracle installation procedures, patching procedures and best practices for backup and restoring Oracle databases
• Experience designing databases including data architecture and table design
• Thorough experience writing SQL statements and creating procedures and functions
• Experience as a Mid-level Cold Fusion developer and administrator
• At least 1 year of experience with a rapid deployment schedule similar to Agile
• Capable of responding to customer requests directly
• Ability to quickly resolve technical issues

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a government contracts environment
• Experience working with the client to determine deliverables and schedule
• Knowledge with the following technologies:
• Basic understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
• Microsoft VSS/TFS
• Web servers such as Apache and/or MS IIS 6.0+
• CMS web applications built on Open Source platforms
• Comfortable working independently with little supervision
