Our Addison client is hiring a solid, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) Architect/Developer for a full time position. The OBIEE architect/developer will design, structure, and develop OBIEE report logic for various business units. The OBIEE Application Developer is responsible for the design, build, and deployment of the end user analysis components of the analytic solution. The position is responsible for developing the interfaces to the data warehouse that will be visible to the enterprise, and must, therefore, work closely with both business/systems analysts and the end users to gain a full understanding of their needs. The OBIEE Application Developer designs the application, ensuring that the end user requirements gathered during the requirements definition phase are accurately met with the final build of the application.

REQUIREMENTS

- 10+ years experience in IT,

- 6+ years experience specifically in data warehouse/decision support BI Application (report) Development.

- 4 years of experience with OBIEE or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Solid understanding of SQL and databases, Indexing, Partitioning, etc.;

- Solid understanding of Business (accounting, budgeting, purchasing, etc.) processes;

- Experience training business users in accessing/building OBIEE/dashboards/reports;

- Experience with Essbase, Analysis services and reporting a Plus!

EDUCATION

- Bachelor's degree, prefer

- Bachelor's degree, prefer a Master's Degree in MIS, CS or directly related field. Solid understanding of Business (accounting, budgeting, purchasing, etc.) processes and/or education institutions; Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions data structures; Experience training business users in accessing/building OBIEE/Answers dashboards/reports; Experience with Essbase, Analysis services and reporting.
