Kelly Engineering Resources is recruiting for a temporary DFT in the San Diego area.

The DFT Engineer is a key stakeholder that involves the ownership of testability methodology and execution of the projects.

The DFT Engineer will develop comprehensive plans for achieving test coverage, implementation of scripts for scan and MBIST insertion, coverage analysis, design debug and optimizations toward required fault coverage goals.

The DFT Engineer will own the implementation of functional test modes as appropriate for manufacturing test and qualification activities.

Duties also include;

Generation of ATE vectors for sampling

Quality and production plus associated support of Operations engineering in their use.

The DFT Engineer will work closely with Operations and VLSI design groups on any returned material analysis that traces to issues with fault coverage.  The DFT Engineer requires continuous improvement of coverage and reduction of test cost impact through generational learning.

The “Ideal” Engineering Candidate will have a MSEE or equivalent with preferred background or a minimum of BSEE or equivalent and 5 or more years of industry experience in DFT. 

The Engineering Candidates will have strong knowledge in all aspects of the DFT domain from concept through design implementation and ATE application.

The ability to interact effectively with partners from a broad range of disciplines including:

• Product/Test engineering
• Reliability
• VLSI design
• Applications is essential

The Engineering Candidates should have completed multiple successful projects from start to finish including development of overall methodology for DFT and its efficient automation.

Self-motivated and strong communication ability is also essential.
