Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank’s Credit Trading Department is seeking a recent college graduate that has experience in the Financial Industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, able to work under pressure and have an understanding of the Financial Industry.

The U.S. Associate position will be available for a maximum of 2 years.  The goal of the U.S. Associate program is to develop the ideal candidate into a full-time position at the end of the two years.

Primary Function:

Support the desk and Head of desk with various tasks in the daily activity of the desk, essentially pertaining to inputting trades in Murex, marking CDS curves in Credit Pricer, working with MO in trade reconciliation, approving repos.

 Qualifications

Candidate will need to be well versed into dealing with various systems and departments of the bank and be able to develop a strong understanding of how they interact.

Organizational skills will be vital as the person will need to be involved in figuring out complex processes (and eventually contribute to their betterment by making suggestions).

Autonomy and a certain level of confidence will be necessary as the person will need to interact with various departments, ideally on his/her own

Good analytical and mathematic skills (preferred)

We are not looking for a hard core IT person, but for someone who has good capacity to understand complex processes and be organized to get things done. A good ability to communicate and interact is also important again as there will be a fair amount of interaction with internal functions, someone that understands priorities and good attention to detail.

Series 7 license required

Responsibilities:

Enter trade tickets in various systems

Enter CDS marks in Credit Pricer

Run end of day P & L report

Reconcile  P & L estimate and Murex vs MAM

Help with various market studies

Help with other tasks the desk is required to perform
