Computer Operator

Job Scope:

• 24/7 Global Data Center
• Job holder is expected to cover three 12 hour shifts any given week. For example:
• Sunday 7am-7pm
• Monday night 7pm-7am
• Wednesday night 7pm-7am

Location:

• East Windsor, NJ

Job Purpose:

• Key member of Computer Operation team running critical business systems in a global Data Center

Roles and Responsibilities:

• System Monitoring both at the OS 400 levels and within SAP

• Job scheduling at both the OS400 level and within SAP

• Report printing and distribution at the OS 400 levels and within SAP

• Help desk ticket assistance and resolution

• First line support of both internal and remote users outside Help Desk hours

• Troubleshooting (devices, lines, tape drives, interfaces, client access)

• Backup and Restore (nightly, weekends)
• Application of PTFs

Knowledge/Skill/

Competencies:

• ISeries (AS/400) mandatory
• 5 years minimum experience in an enterprise Data Center
• Any TCP/IP, SAP, BRMS, AIX, Disaster Recovery or CL programming a plus
