Our client, a global financial services organization requires a strong intermediate .Net and PowerBuilder Support Developer on a contract basis. Hourly contract is expected to last 1 year.

 

You will:

 

-Contribute and assist with all development and support of large enterprise applications.
-Provide team with technical expertise and offer advice and solutions to technical queries.
-Ensure quality of deliverables through compliance with specification definition, code standard reviews, and design walkthroughs.
-Provide technical recommendations and solutions aligned with business objectives.

You bring:

-         5+ years or more development experience.

·         4 years or more experience in object oriented design.

·         Strong knowledge of development methodologies.

·         Object-oriented analysis and design. Familiarity with design patterns.

·         Strong in the database design skills.
·         Strong knowledge of PowerBuilder 10 and MS SQL.

·         Good knowledge of .NET 2.0

·         Webservice experience specifically for integrating systems

 

Nice to have:

·          SQL Reporting Services

·          Financial services industry experience.

·          Experience with Websphere application server.

·          UML standards and tools.

·          Working experience with MQ Series.

·          Experience with VisualStudio 2008.
