Every day, Kelly Scientific Resources (KSR) connects clinical research professionals with opportunities to advance their careers.  We currently have a long term contract opportunity for a Principal Analyst, Statistical Programming for our client in Cambridge, MA.
 
This Senior Analyst will serve as the lead Statistical Programmer to achieve milestones on one or more studies.  This individual will develop and implement statistical programming specifications and QC plans and work closely with the study team to assure quality data and deliverables.  He/she provides resource estimates, timelines, and expectations to other team members and ensures standards at a drug program level.  This includes integrating data across multiple studies or drug programs. 
 
The Senior Analyst will be accountable for identifying issues and the development/implementation of solutions to problems.  This includes serving as a mentor to other programmers.
 
SKILLS
In order to be successful within this role, qualified candidates must possess extensive knowledge of the drug development process and clinical trials, including drug submission requirements, relevant ICH and FDA/EMEA guidelines and CDISC standards.
This candidate must be viewed as an expert in the field of statistical programming and able to handle a moderate to large volume of complex tasks with some supervision.  The ability to manage statistical programming work in one drug program as well as ad hoc requests from other departments, with minimal guidance, is required.
 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in a scientific discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics Computer Science, IT, Biology Social Science, etc.  Candidates must have at least 5 to 7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience which includes SAS Base programming using SAS, STAT, GRAPH and MACRO.
