New business development manager
Experienced in:
Developing new markets, sourcing new contracts (in a niche business, selling technical equipment to OEMs)
Maintaining relationships with existing customers
Tendering
Negotiating pricing & commercial terms & conditions
Ensuring all necessary documentation for exports is completed and adhere to the legal requirements for the different countries
Setting sales targets and managing the achievement of the targets
Management of sales staff
Sales forecasts and budgets
Providing after sales support (and technical advice to clients would be an advantage)
Sourcing & appointing local agents in foreign countries
Advising clients on applications (as well as new technology and applications, would be an advantage)
Required:
Strong technical background (preferably in refrigeration or air conditioning)
Able to travel extensively – locally and internationally
Excellent communication skills
Minimum 5 years and a strong track record in a similar position
Attributes:
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Operate independently (obviously we will provide him/her with some training if they don’t have a background in HVAC/refrigeration)
- Be entrepreneurial and come with new ideas for market development
