Job Description

Roles :
•         Pipeline development using a combination of market sector knowledge, references and incoming leads
•         Go from identifying opportunities to closing sales in complex scenarios by clearly understanding the prospect's requirements and timeline
•         Create & develop relationships with ISVs with a mix of OEM and Channel partnerships.
•         Answer all licensing and technical queries prospects have along the course of their evaluation to their full satisfaction over phone, email and F2F in co-ordination with our tech/support team
•         Facilitate consultative selling by understanding data visualization best practices and clearly articulating the benefits of the product to the prospect
•         Deliver on-site presentations to the technical and management teams of the prospect using a combination of PowerPoint, live demos and other product literature as required
•         Clearly understand the prospect's usage scenario to recommend the best-suited license to them
•         Build long-term relationships with customers and understand their evolving data visualization requirements
•         Get case studies and testimonials from satisfied and referenceable customers
•         Maintain complete and up-to-date records of all sales opportunities in our CRM system
•         Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services, industry trends and competition
•         Forecast sales activity for the upcoming month and quarter
•         Work closely with the marketing team to create awareness / interest within the territory
•         Pass regular feedback from the customers to the product and marketing teams

 

Skills required :
•         At least 2 years of field sales experience in IT; product sales experience preferred
•         Excellent communication (both written & verbal) and presentation skills
•         Excellent listening and comprehension skills
•         Strong analytical skills
•         In-depth understanding of web and enterprise applications; programming knowledge in web-based technologies an advantage
•         Ability to handle pressure, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
•         Strong and confident personality
•         A never-ending desire to learn and improve
•         Working knowledge of CRM preferred
