Our client is looking to add a QA Automation Engineer to work alongside the QA Architect. This person will be responsible for design and development of the automated test framework for the testing teams. This will include providing input from prior experience setting up test frameworks, implementing new testing tools and development of test cases. It is very important that this person be a problem solver and ready to contribute from day one. The architect does not want someone that needs to be told what to do but rather he needs a person who will own their projects and provide solutions. This will be a very small team of 2 and separate from the testing teams within the other groups so essentially the customers will be the QA Testers and Developers within those various groups. |
Qualified candidates can come from two separate backgrounds. They are interested in speaking to someone who has been a Java Developer in the past but has had some experience setting up a test framework and can write test cases in Java. The other person would be someone who has solid experience as a QA Engineer that has worked with Selenium and set up that framework. The top 3 skills are as follows: 1-Development using Java 2- Prior experience creating Automated Test Frameworks. 3- Strong Database experience (Oracle or SQL).
