THE COMPANY

Stellar Recruitment has partnered with an exploration and production company in Houston, TX that is well-funded and publicly-traded on the NASDAQ. They are focused on acquiring and developing onshore oil and gas assets in Texas, Louisiana and the Mid-continent.

THE POSITION

• Acquire and analyse test data to define accurate reservoir characteristic 
• Optimize corporate reporting of quarterly and yearend reserves
• Perform look back analysis on existing development projects
• Present of development program proposals and updates to management
• Maintain project economics to insure compliance with budgets
• Oversee performance forecasting and economic value assessments
• Perform evaluation studies of existing assets and potential acquisitions
• Execute AIRES software for reserve reporting and economic calculations
• Liaise with geosciences, drilling, production and land professional

THE QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering
• 2+ years upstream oil and gas reservoir engineering experience
• Understanding of technical and commercial reservoir evaluations
• Experience with data and analysis software (Aires, OFM, Petra)
• Exposure to conventional and unconventional resource plays
