Job Description

THE COMPANY
Stellar Recruitment has partnered with an exploration and production company in Houston, TX that is well-funded and publicly-traded on the NASDAQ. They are focused on acquiring and developing onshore oil and gas assets in Texas, Louisiana and the Mid-continent.
THE POSITION
- Perform complex geological studies both technically and commercially
- Identify drilling prospects on both mature and new acreage positions
- Appraise new onshore oil and gas discoveries and report findings
- Oversee well planning, geosteering and geological field operations
- Work on a multi-disciplined team to achieve company goals
THE QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Geology – MS is preferred
- 5+ to 20 years oil and gas industry geology experience
- Experience supporting active development operations
- Ability to keep pace with a fast-paced drilling program
- Understanding of technical and commercial evaluations
- Exposure to conventional and unconventional resources
