Job Description

Business Operations Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Telematics program management
  • Creating and maintaining telematics development project plan
  • Tracking program risks & issues
  • Working closely with internal departments and vendors to coordinate logistical issues
  • Facilitating program level meetings
  • Reporting and updating program status
  • Creating communication documentation for program monitoring
  • Cross functional support within telematics team

 

Special Skill Set:

  • PMP (project management professional) certification or equivalent is preferred
  • Automotive program/process
    knowledge or methodology
  • Expert knowledge of automotive product development processes

Previous Experience:

  • 6+ years in automotive industry
  • 3+ years program management experience
  • BS degree in engineering or science is required, a degree in CS/CE/EE is a plus, MS or MBA is preferred
  • PM experience in new product development is required
  • Automotive telematics experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience working with vendors
  • Automotive infotainment/telematics experience is preferred
  • Experience in telematics/infotainment system architecture development is preferred
