The People Bank ? Mississauga is currently looking for a Salon Manager for our client a high end salon located in Mississauga.

You will be responsible for the overall staffing and profitability of the salon and will ensure that company policies are adhered to and customer satisfaction is guaranteed.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the profitability of the salon
• Maintain and review client service standards
• Work with senior management to ensure that hairdressing and techniques are in keeping with current trends and client wishes
• Maintain the salon?s cleanliness and aesthetics ensuring that all company policies are adhered to
• Provide leadership, mentoring, discipline, and career development advice to staff when appropriate
• With senior management plan future staffing levels to prepare for staffing fluctuations
• Ensure that the reception area runs smoothly including taking overall responsibility for cash and paperwork procedures
• Attend events as needed
• Assist in managing the salon?s public image with the aim of improving client counts and reputation

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to manage a profitable salon operation
• Preference given to candidates with post-secondary education as an esthetician
• The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of retail and/or salon management experience
• Demonstrated people management skills within the industry
• Exceptional dedication to customer satisfaction
• Ability to maintain records as well as interpret and follow all policies and procedures
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic
• A proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities at the same time
