Direct Hire Recruiter (closed)
EdgeRock is looking for multiple Direct Hire Recruiters with strong business development skills to represent our organization by educating clients and potential clients on the full range of staffing services that we offer for the placement of Information Technology (IT) professionals. Our Direct Hire Recruiters work directly with a variety of audiences, including our internal operating staff, new and existing clients and direct hire candidates in a consultative fashion.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Qualify and develop direct hire leads from our existing clients
- Establish new client relationships and direct hire leads
- Work within our established operating procedures and agreements
- Develop technical job descriptions and requirements
- Effectively screen appropriate candidates for open positions
- Negotiate fees for our Direct Hire services
- Set, deliver and close employment offers
From a candidate recruiting standpoint, our Direct Hire Recruiters should be knowledgeable of the Information Technology marketplace for a variety of IT disciplines. They should be able to understand technical job specifications, compensation levels, and candidate interview and selection. The Direct Hire Recruiter is also responsible for:
- Sourcing, evaluating, interviewing and preparing candidates for job interviews
- Introducing candidates to our clients
- Negotiating and closing employment offers
- Performing quality checks with the Hiring Manager during the placement guarantee period
Our Direct Hire business ultimately depends upon the Recruiter’s ability to develop and maintain relationships with Clients and Candidates.
Qualifications
- IT / Technical Recruiting or Sales experience (Direct Hire or Contract) in the Staffing Industry highly desirable
- Direct Hire experience in other Staffing Industry disciplines also desirable
- Corporate Recruiting experience in IT / Technical disciplines would also be considered
- Poised, mature demeanor and professional personal presentation
- Excellent organizational skills
- Articulate speaker and strong listening skills a must
- Excellent candidate assessment skills (to establish rapport and determine qualifications)
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Bachelor degree is highly desirable
