Responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, developing and supporting local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Voice over IP (VoIP) systems across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Participate in the design, installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all Voice and Data network hardware, software, and communication links

·         Performs necessary troubleshooting, diagnostic, research, evaluation and documentation of various WAN/LAN/VoIP and data communications issues and solutions

·         Coordinates/performs network additions and change tasks such as computer installs and network infrastructure changes

·         Assists in preparation and execution of the overall project plan

·         Isolates and resolves Voice and Data complex problems utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools

·         Installs and tests product and operating systems upgrades

·         Installs, Troubleshoots, and Maintains Cisco Call Manager, Unity, and Call Center applications

·         Maintains and troubleshoots MPLS network and SIP trunking and hardware

·         Defines system back-up/restore procedures

·         Maintains existing systems with patches, service packs and updates on an on-going basis

·         Monitors system performance at both the hardware and software levels

·         Coordinates with service providers in scheduling preventive maintenance, upgrades and repair and maintains records.

·         Ensures compliance to standards for all systems administered

·         Ensures compliance with data security policies and procedures relative to all network systems

Job Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience

·         5+ years of network engineering knowledge and experience

Technical Requirements:

·         Computer Operating Systems; Windows, Unix, Linux

·         Cisco Routers, Switches and Voice Communication Servers

·         Firewall Configuration

·         VPN

·         Network Security Administration

·         Cisco Certification desirable
