A centrally located Bristol business is currently looking for a Web IT Manager / Web Project Manager / Social Media Manager to take responsibility for the delivery of an innovative consumer facing web based portal which will be the core platform for their business moving forwards.

The role will build upon your already in depth skills in project management, relationship management and technical strategy development. Although you won’t be hands-on in the development of the portal, a background and understanding of web based technologies such as ASP.Net, C#, Drupal and Salesforce.com is essential.

You will also have a high appreciation for usability and the delivery of interactive portals, ideally in a B2C environment, in order to retain the interest of the audience and accelerate the growth of those using the service.

The Web IT Manager / Web Project Manager / Social Media manager will be responsible for the following:

• Overall responsibility for the build, delivery, support and on-going maintenance of the web based portal
• Consultation at all levels to understand the overall business strategy and deliver a technology roadmap and strategy for the portal which meets business goals
• Matrix management of internal and external resources who are integral to the technical delivery of the system
• Ensure the delivery of the system is on time and to budget
• Deliver initiatives to improve the usability of the portal and increase the user base
