GENERAL SUMMARY:

Position is on the staff of a not-for-profit government consulting firm located in McLean, VA.  The Production Support Specialist will work on-site at client organization located in Richmond, VA.  The Production Support Specialist will assist the PM in sustainment operations during and following the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution to the US Army, develop policies and procedures, and provide leadership and technical guidance to other personnel in performing these tasks. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in developing and fielding of an ERP system to the U.S. Army
• Learn the role of sustainment of a soon to be implemented ERP system
• Point of contact for Program Manger at the developer’s site in Richmond, VA
• Participate in the development of associated training packets
• Manage roles and permissions assignments for GCSS-Army users
• Provide quality assurance for sustainment training products
• Develop training schedules for sustainment training and transition training

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Recent Bachelor’s degree in information technology
• Course work in SAP software or knowledge of SAP and its modules
• Knowledge of U.S. Army logistics is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Excellent inter-personal skills
• Must have a  Secret  clearance
