Our Client in Vaughan is the preeminent provider of financial and business services to Ontario's energy sector. Ontario's energy sector is vibrant and growing. As a result they are actively looking to hire a Marketing and Communications Coordinator. The successful candidate will possess at least 5 years of relevant experience. The professional incumbent will demonstrated proficiency in working with social media applications, possess a combination of creative and analytical thinking and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Marketing

Assists in building corporate brand identity and works with Product Managers in coordinating adherence to guidelines across multiple mediums
- Works with Product Managers to prepare marketing copy and develops creative briefs for projects and programs
- Utilizes graphic design tools to create product identities and marketing collateral across multiple mediums and channels (web, print, presentations, e-documents, e-blasts, social media, etc.)
- Coordinates production and distribution of all marketing materials including consultation with printers
Communications
- Supports strategic planning activities including conducting research
- Coordinates production and distribution of corporate affairs marketing collateral (i.e. annual report, corporate brochure, etc.)
- Works with Product Managers in coordinating production and distribution of various communication tools such as articles, newsletters, presentations, product fact sheets, etc.
- Maintains communication policies, procedures, lists and records
- Maintains and updates corporate website and social media tools
Sales
- Works with Product Managers to explore new concepts, prepare proposals for new and renewal business
- Contributes to sales forecasting, account planning and other related sales tasks
- Monitors competitor information & sales effectiveness
- Maintains client records, updates databases and identifies sales leads
Qualifications:
- 5 years of work experience in a similar position
- MUST have Degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Marketing, or Communications
- Advanced proficiency in using InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash and JavaScript in a Windows environment
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Insurance experience and knowledge of electricity industry issues an asset
