Role: Leadership and Development Manager
Salary: c. £49,000 - £62,000 + Final Salary Pension
Location: Hampshire/Berkshire borders
Our client has been central to the defence of the United Kingdom for more than 50 years. Due to company growth they are looking to recruit a Leadership and Development Manager to manage their Leadership and Development programmes.
Role: Leadership and Development Manager
As Leadership and Development Manager you will be responsible for:
+ Developing short, mid and long term plan to support leadership and management development
+ Conducting rigorous TNA with key stakeholders to ensure that solutions delivered focus on the right business priorities and meet requirements and deliver tangible benefit
+ Design innovative value for money solutions that support the transition of learning into the workplace and day to day working practices and behaviours
+ Design and implement learning and development solutions that are aligned to business priorities, support high levels of organisational change and develop strong Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality performance at organisational, team and individual level
+ Deliver a wide range of realistic and business focused learning interventions for employees and managers that directly support the achievement of business goals and objectives
+ Align leadership and management development solutions with talent and succession plans to strengthen our talent pool and develop enduring leadership and management capability
+ Developing high quality delegate materials to support learning solutions
+ Effectively promote learning opportunities within the organisation through the effective use of a wide range of communication channels
+ Supporting the development of a learning culture within the company by working in partnership with key business stakeholders, HR Business Partners and other HR specialists
+ Design and develop the organisation’s approach to leadership and management assessment and development centres
Experience:
As Leadership and Development Manager you will have experience of:
+ Degree qualified or equivalent in Psychology or other relevant discipline
+ Relevant training qualification i.e. CIPD
+ Qualified in the use of psychometric tools (BPS Level A and B) would be an advantage
+ Coaching qualification would be an advantage
+ In depth knowledge of how to apply the full training cycle
+ Up to date knowledge of best practice in the leadership and management development field
+ Solid knowledge of change leadership and management strategies, approaches and models
+ Knowledge of how to design and develop assessment and development centres
+ Experience of designing and implementing leadership and management development solutions that make a tangible difference to organisational, team and individual performance
+ Experience of coaching line managers
+ Experience of designing innovative business focused learning and development solutions
+ Experience of developing strong performance management practice
