Java Developer required for Test Frameworks
 
Core Java, JUnit or TestNg, RDBMS, Maven on Linux. EU passport & strong English communication skills required.
 
Main Function
Are you committed to delivering great software, releasing it quickly, efficiently and with increasing quality? Our client’s Prague team of European English speakers is working on a brand new in-house framework that provides its own DSL in order that knowledge experts can write tests quickly and comprehensively.
 
 Main Duties
Ability to design and implement APIs and framework functionality and be responsible for testing new and modified programs/applications, to verify that everything functions according to requirements and guidelines. 
 
Developing and executing test plans and automated test cases that ensure deliverables are of the highest quality
 
Design and Implement the framework.
Participate in functional specification and design reviews.
Interact closely with other teams to identify, isolate, and fix software defects.
Develop test strategies for internal integration applications and external vendor systems.
 
Develop and execute grey box and white box tests for applications that support the cash equities system.
Participate in test plan reviews and requirement workshops.
Help manage framework environment and data ensuring support of test efforts and schedules.
Communicating test status to project teams and management, which includes blocking issues, risks and changes that may affect the project deliverables and project schedules.
Establish and maintain working relationships across IT, and between technology team members. Act as a liaison for testing team to all other internal project teams addressing their needs and requirements, including support of UAT testing as necessary
 
Requirements
Strong Java programming skills.
Experience using Unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNg.
Graduate in Computer Science or related discipline
Proficient in refactoring, emergent design, testable and modular code, build infrastructure
Experience with RDBMS technologies, especially MySQL or Oracle including writing SQL statements
Experience with Linux operating systems
Experience with Maven or similar build tool
Ability to work independently on multiple projects
Strong English communication skills
