The Senior Programmer is responsible for creating and maintaining custom applications, systems, and interfaces – as well as writing code to integrate existing systems. These include stand-alone applications, system utilities, database applications, web sites, and interfaces with accounting, human resource, and other systems. Will also have project management-type responsibilities on some larger, more complex initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Design, maintain, and support enterprise application systems, web applications and portals, custom reports, etc. Has the ability to work with various development tools, languages, and platforms.
Collaborate effectively with programmers, IT staff, and attorneys and staff on development projects. Help define requirements, and explain the capabilities and limitations of various systems.
Document code and completed applications.
Provide assistance and training to the other Programmer/ Analysts

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Minimum 5 years experience in large database and custom application development work
Minimum 3 years experience with Web development tools.
Experience and aptitude with: Microsoft.NET (ASP, VB, Windows Presentation Foundation, etc), C#, VBScripts, SQL, JavaScript, Powershell, Crystal reports, Ajax, Visual Studio, Sharepoint

**Experience with Sharepoint is a MUST**
