Job description: National Sales Manager

As a National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for creating and delivering market growth/sales strategy for Client Services product/services portfolio within India. Your specific duties are likely to include:

·         Direct and coordinate the sales strategy for the India region.

·         Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.

·         Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.

·         Participate in the development of new project proposals.

·         Represent the company at various industry and/or business meetings to promote the company.

·         Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.

·         Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.

·         Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.

·         Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a sales/business development professional with at least 5 years of experience leading a sales team that sold/supported complex IT/managed Services to global multinational customers within the India marketplace. Candidates for the position should also have the following professional experience and qualities:

  • BE/BTech degree – preferably within IT related disciplines.
  • Minimum experience of 10+ years with significant experience within IT industry.
  • Technical understanding of ERP systems, IT Managed Services and BCM will be a plus
  • Thorough understanding of the IT marketplace within India and the growth opportunities.
  • You must have travelled extensively in India
  • Ability to work within a global sales team to uncover and prosecute opportunities within global corporates with presence in India

Conditions:

  • Job Location : Pune (preferable). Other metros in India are negotiable.
  • Able to travel within and outside the country as and when required
