Job Description
Our client, a global consumer products firm, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager for a 3 month contract in their offices in Manhattan. There is opportunity for the contract to extend.
The Manager will know how to find great talent for global marketing positions from entry to senior manager level.
He or she will act as a consultant to the business on best-in-class recruiting practices that enable the organization to attract and acquire the talent to drive an aggressive growth agenda. The candidate will be a key partner to the human resource generalist partners and business leaders to deliver an exacting, high quality recruiting experience for candidates and business partners.
Responsibilities:

Lead recruiting execution for one or more business or functional areas. Conduct entry level through Executive Director level searches and execute college recruiting

Facilitate and drive a recruiting and candidate management approach that focuses on high quality interaction for all constituents, internally and externally.

Proactively lead updates to the business and human resources on the progress, market feedback and constraints impacting the recruiting process of all open position requisitions. It is expected that these interactions are rich in content and market feedback and add value beyond a status update.

Act as a subject matter expert and be viewed as the go-to person on matters of recruiting process, candidate markets, competitive talent intelligence, etc.

Cultivate and foster strong working relationships with human resource partners to enable the delivery of highly qualified candidates to the business in a timely and succinct manner.

Deliver comprehensive candidate pools through aggressive sourcing channels including, but not limited to, research (internal/external), networking, direct sourcing, internet recruiting, associations, advertising, industry events, employee referrals, community events, diverse organizations and competitor contacts.

Responsible for utilizing global pools of talent based on work insights and analytics, and aligning globally focused strategy with locally focused talent scouting.

Provide executive bench strength in anticipating future needs and supply, and maintain a thorough understanding of core businesses by attending sales meetings, Corporate Leadership Committee (CLC) meetings, associations, etc.

Partner with the Line Manager, Business HR and Compensation to facilitate an appropriate offer, providing a clear understanding of all aspects of the candidate?s package.

Deliver year-over-year improvement against core metrics that drive optimum recruiting organization execution including: quality of hire, cost-per-hire, agency usage, employee referral source of hire, client service quality scores.
Knowledge & Experience:

5-7 years recruiting experience in either a corporate or search firm environment. It is preferred that candidates have a combination of these experiences.

Demonstrated use and execution of broad and scalable recruiting strategies that deliver excellent candidate slates.

Leadership of strategic recruiting projects including, by not limited to functional or business team recruiting build-outs, candidate development initiatives, etc.

Demonstrated expertise developing recruiting plans that identify passive candidate pools and strategies to engage and recruit these populations.

Next generation knowledge and leadership on introduction of recruiting techniques

Utilization of recruiting technologies, both as application tracking tools, as well as proactive candidate development.

Proactive ownership and driving of employee referral activity.

Experience working in or within highly competitive industries/functional areas that are geared toward upgrading and increasing talent depth.
