Job Description
Position Summary
The Business Account Specialist responsibilities include: track, monitor, resolve and report department's key business activities and/or issues by working cross-functionally with other departments, vendors and external customers. These activities are not limited to enrollment processing, markets transaction and account maintenance. The Business Account Specialist will be involved in gathering data as needed for root cause analysis and issue resolution in addition to participating in process design and improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Working across departments daily to resolve Market Transaction issues
Coordinate and perform enrollments for residential and commercial accounts
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
Enter customer contract information into systems for enrollment
Prepare and analyze weekly reports related to Commercial/Multifamily enrollments.
Resolve items assigned to system work queue
Provide assistance in development, testing, and enhancements of new systems
Assist in creating and maintaining process documentation
Prepare spreadsheets, graphics, and word documents as required for tracking, reporting, analysis, documentation and presentations
Work with utilities to research, clarify and request additional data for issue resolution and process documentation
Participate in process design and improvement and provide functional requirements for system development projects; perform user acceptance testing as needed
Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and utilities to master understanding of market transactions and business processes; build consensus in a team environment

Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred
Able to communicate (written and oral) effectively across all audiences, both technical and business.
Must be self-sufficient, self-starter and requires minimal supervision; seek out appropriate resources to answer questions.
Produce quality work products on time and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), with advanced knowledge of Excel;
Open-minded, flexible personality with ability to relate to variable personality types and work styles across all retail teams including sales, supply, operations, etc.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
